The garden show Blooming Baroque and the Fairy-Tale Garden

The very beautiful gardens around the residential palace make a trip to Ludwigsburg unforgettable. Garden art from various eras and regions is presented for the pleasure of the visitors. An excellent example of the rich variety can be found in the northern part of the garden. Here you will find the Broderieparterre and aviaries which house native and exotic birds from all over the world. Or else the southern garden with the colourful flower and gravel ornamentation surrounded by mighty chestnut trees.

No visitor should miss the valley of the birdcalls which leads to the romantic Emichsburg castle and a lake with a waterfall. Wherever you look, ther are beautiful sights to see and interesting things to discover - from roses to an herbal garden, form the Japanese to the Sardinian gardens which have been awarded in the past. On top of that, the exhibits and flower shows are always changing, offering somithing new for their visitors.
