Future conference 2009

We are going for everything: Ludwigsburg is counting on sustainable urban development.

The city offers its citizens high quality and diversity in jobs, culture, housing, social living and free time.
The city development concept seeks to guarantee these values for the future. This concept was developed with wide support by the citizenry in 2005 and 2006.

The jubilee year 2009 offers future impulses for Ludwigsburg. These impulses include making public places more attractive, the founding of the theatre academy and the development of renewable energy. Already today these are examples for improvement of economic strength and vitality of the city.

And we are moving forward: During events such as the Third Future Conference in September 2009 the topic of sustainable city development will be reflected and developed. Therefore to all citizens the appeal: “Help us shape Ludwigsburg”!

  Current status of the citizens and city projects kicked off during the future conference 2006.
  You can inform yourself and comment on the projects.
• 19 September, 9:30 h – 13:00 h: “Let’s look and think towards the future”.
  How can we as a city, with sustainable goals, successfully stand together in these times of a lower budget? Come and discuss with us.
