Carl Eugen apartment

Appartement Herzog Carl EugenDuke Carl Eugen preferred more intimate surroundings during his stays at the Redsidential Palace in Ludwigsburg. Therefor he let build a small apartment for his own private retreat. This apartment initally comprised 5 rooms, which were later extended to 8. The apartment contains French furniture dating form the 18th century and can be viewed as an annex to the palace museum.
