Setting up a prohibition of stopping zone
For the duration of your moving house, you can set up a prohibition of stopping zone (officially: prohibition of stopping zone). This allows you to comfortably load and unload in front of your old and new property.
You cannot reserve parking spaces on public roads arbitrarily (for example by setting up waste bins) without prior permission.
Other road users do not have to comply with unauthorised reservations.
Note: Should an absolute prohibition of stopping apply to the area of the planned loading and unloading zone, you need to apply for an exception permit in order to be able to park there. However, in areas with limited prohibition of stopping, you may load and unload, provided this does not cause any delays.

You must erect the prohibition of stopping signs approximately four days before the day of removal.
