Journey by Public Transportation:
By train (S-Bahn) Ludwigsburg is 15 minutes away fom Stuttgart. You reach Ludwigsburg station with the following lines:
“S-Bahn” – S4 Marbach and S5 Bietigheim
Additionally you can reach Ludwigsburg by regional trains coming from Bruchsal, Stuttgart, Würzburg or Pforzheim.

Ludwigsburg is easily reached via motorway (Autobahn - A) A81. Coming from southern Germany (München) you can leave the motorway at junction "Ludwigsburg Süd". Arriving from northern parts (Würzburg/ Heilbronn) the motorway exit "Ludwigsburg Nord" will lead you into the city centre of Ludwigsburg.
Another option for reaching Ludwigsburg by car is via the federal trunk road (Bundesstraße - B) B27 - accessible either way from Stuttgart or Heilbronn.
The route to the centre of Ludwigsburg is well-signposted. In the inner city you will find plenty of parking lots and car parks. The Routing System "Parkleitsystem" will guide you to find free parking lots.
